Collmot Entertainment compiled the milestones of the evolution of drones in the entertainment industry on a cool infographic.
On August 20th, 2018 we stamped our name into Hungarian history with the world's largest 3D animation presented by 38 autonomous drones, as part of our National Day's emblematic firework show.
CollMot Entertainment is proud to be part of the great scientific breakthrough presented by Science Robotics in a research article and on its 2018 July cover: how to create large swarms of autonomous drones that fly together optimally in confined outdoor spaces? Three of the six authors are co-founders of CollMot Entertainment in their research cap, while the company itself provided some of its infrastructure and technology to make the collective flight of the thirty drones as safe and spectacular as possible.
At the opening ceremony of the 17th FINA World Championships in Budapest, the CollMot drone fleet formed a bird. The drones were created by the researchers of the Department of Biological Physics at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), who have already travelled half the world showcasing their work. However for the Hungarian audience this was the first time that they could witness such a great number of drones moving in perfect harmony.
